Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of Ropivacaine combined with Sufentanil brachial plexus block in children with upper limb surgery. Methods A total of 60 children who underwent upper limb surgery in Central People′s Hospital of Zhanjiang from January 2019 to June 2020 were selected, they were divided into the control group and the observation group, 30 cases in each group. The control group was given Ropivacaine for brachial plexus block, the observation group was given Ropivacaine combined with Sufentanil for brachial plexus block. The pain scores (FLACC scores) at 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 h after operation, the anesthesia effect, the dosage of postoperative analgesics and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in FLACC score between the two groups at 1, 12 h after operation (P>0.05).The FLACC scores of the two groups at 2, 4,6, 8, 10, 12 h after operation were higher than those at 1 h after operation (P<0.05), and the FLACC scores of the observation group at 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 h after operation were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05).The onset time of brachial plexus block of the observation group was earlier than that of the control group, the duration of continuous analgesia of the observation group was longer than that of control group (P<0.05).The postoperative analgesic dosage of the observation group was less than that of the control group (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion In pediatric upper limb surgery anesthesia, the application of Ropivacaine combined with Sufentanil brachial plexus block has better effect, faster onset, longer analgesia time, and does not increase the incidence of adverse reactions in children.
