Abstract:Objective To explore the prevalence of respiratory viruses in 798 children with respiratory tract infection. Methods A total of 798 children with respiratory tract infection from December 2018 to December 2019 in Jiangmen Maternal and Child Health Hospital were selected as the research objects.Respiratory secretions were collected and respiratory viruses were detected. Objective to analyze the detection of respiratory viruses in children with respiratory tract infection, the composition of various respiratory viruses and their relationship with age and season. Results 279(34.96%) positive samples were detected in 798 children with respiratory tract infection, among which 6 cases (0.75%)were mixed infection, both of which were two kinds of virus infection;respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) was the most common in 279 positive samples, with the detection rate of 18.55%,followed by influenza virus A (IFA),the detection rate was 7.39%;with the growth of age,the positive rates of adenovirus (ADV),RSV,and parainfluenza virus (PIV) typeⅠ,PⅣⅡ,and PIV Ⅲshowed a downward trend, while influenza virus type B (IFB) and IFA showed an upward trend. The positive rate of respiratory virus infection was 45.33% in <1-year-old group, which was higher than that 1-<3-year-old group.3-<6-year-old group and ≥6-year-old group (P<0.05).The sex rates were 47.19% and 34.50%respectively,which were higher than those in summer and autumn (P<0.05).Conclusion The detection rate of respiratory viruses in children with respiratory tract virus infection is high. The main pathogenic pathogens are RSV and IFA.The high incidence seasons are spring and winter, and most of them occur in inIFAnts under 1 year old.
