Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of narrative nursing on the emotions and self-acceptance of patients with depression.Methods A total of 100 patients with depression admitted to Meizhou Third People′s Hospital from June 2019 to January 2021 were selected as the research objects, they were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method, with 50 cases in each group.The control group was given routine nursing intervention, and the observation group was given narrative nursing intervention.The scores of Hamilton depression scale (HAMD), Hamilton anxiety scale (HAMA) and self acceptance questionnaire (SAQ) were compared between the two groups at admission and 1, 2 and 4 weeks after hospitalization, the nursing total satisfaction of the two groups after intervention were compared.Results The HAMD and HAMA scores of the observation group at 1, 2 and 4 weeks after hospitalization were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The SAQ scores of the observation group at 1, 2 and 4 weeks after hospitalization were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The nursing total satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The use of narrative nursing to intervene patients with depression can significantly eliminate the patients′ negative emotions such as depression and anxiety, improve their self-acceptance, ensure the quality of clinical care, and make patients more satisfied.
