Abstract：Objective To investigate the clinical application of the catheter extubation system in the common diseases of urology.Methods A total of 120 patients admitted to Department of Urology of Xingang Central Hospital from January 2020 to January 2021 were selected as the research objects, they were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method, with 60 cases in each group.The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given postoperative catheter extubation system on the basis of the control group.Results The success rate of self micturition and induced micturition in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The indwelling time of urinary catheter of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group, the urinary tract infection rate and unreasonable use rate of urinary catheter of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The nursing total satisfaction rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The urinary postoperative catheter extubation system can effectively shorten the indwelling time of urinary catheter, reduce the risk of infection, which has the value of popularization.
