Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of percutaneous nephrostomy in the treatment of upper urinary calculi complicated with urinary sepsis.Methods A total of 80 cases of patients with upper urinary calculi complicated with urinary sepsis from May 2018 to May 2020 in the First People′s Hospital of Yidu were selected as research objects and divided into two groups according to the random number table method,40 cases in each group.The observation group was treated with percutaneous nephrostomy,and the control group was treated with ureteral stent implantation.Then the changes of serum endotoxin level were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.The levels of inflammatory factors before and 3 days after treatment were recorded.The time of body temperature recovery,time of leukocyte recovery and hospitalization time were observed and the incidence of complications was counted in the two groups.Results At 1 and 3 days after treatment,the levels of serum endotoxin in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).At 3 days after treatment,the levels of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and high sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The time of body temperature recovery,time of leukocyte recovery and hospitalization time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The total incidence of hematoma at the puncture site,renal failure and catheter obstruction in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Percutaneous nephrostomy for patients with upper urinary calculi complicated with urinary sepsis can effectively reduce endotoxin level,control inflammatory reaction and shorten hospitalization time,so it has few complications and high safety.
