Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of psychological intervention combined with health education on the psychological emotion and blood donation reaction of first-time blood donors.Methods A total of 10 642 cases of firsttime blood donors in Guangzhou Blood Center from October 2019 to December 2020 were selected as the research objects and divided into the control group (5321 cases) and the observation group (5321 cases) according to random number table method.The control group was given routine nursing care, and the observation group was given psychological intervention and health education.The two groups of blood donors before and after the intervention of psychological and emotional situation and adverse reactions after blood donation were compared.Results The scores of self rating depression scale (SDS) and self rating anxiety scale (SAS) in the observation group were lower than those in the control group after intervention (P<0.05).After the intervention, the scores of adult version of mental health continuum short form(MHC-SF) in the observation group were higher than those in the control group; the incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Psychological intervention combined with health education can effectively relieve the tension and anxiety of first-time blood donors, make blood donors maintain a good positive health mood, help to reduce the incidence of blood donation reaction, and promote the good development of blood donation.
