Abstract：Objective To investigate the role of mobile multimedia memory therapy in alleviating Alzheimer′s Disease(AD).Methods A total of 100 AD patients admitted to Xinhua Hospital Affiliated to Dalian University from April 2016 to April 2019 were selected as the research objects,and were divided into the experimental group and the control group by drawing lots,50 cesas in each group.The control group was given memantine tablets 10 mg/time,2 times/d,for 16 weeks,and the experimental group was given multimedia memory therapy on the basis of the control group.The minimental stateamination(MMSE)was used to measure cognitive function.The neuropsychiatric inventory(NPI)was used to measure the behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia(BPSD).The evaluation results of MMSE and NPI scales were compared between the two groups before treatment and at the end of the 16th week.Results The MMSE scores of the experimental group after 16 weeks of treatment were higher than before treatment,the MMSE scores of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 16 weeks of treatment,the indicators of agitation/aggression,depression/dysthymia,and anxiety in the experimental group were lower than those before treatment,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions Mobile multimedia memory therapy could be used for alleviating AD and improving mental and behavioral symptoms.This therapy could be recommended for clinical application.
