Abstract：Objective To analyze the influence of mental awareness intervention program on the psychosocial adaptation of breast cancer patients with radiotherapy.Methods Eighty-eight breast cancer patients who accepted radiotherapy and were admitted to Xiaolan Hospital of Southern Medical University from January to December 2019 were selected as the research subjects.They were divided into the control group(n=44)and the observation group(n=44)by random number table method.Patients in the control group received routine nursing care,and in the observation group,they received mental awareness intervention on the basis of routine nursing.The scores of psychosocial adaptation and mental awareness level between the two groups were compared before and after the intervention.Results There were no significant difference in score of anxiety/depression,self-esteem and self-acceptance,attitude,sense of belonging,selfcontrol or self-efficacy between the two groups before intervention(P＞0.05).The scores of anxiety/depression,self-esteem and self-acceptance,attitude,sense of belonging,self-control and self-efficacy between the two groups after intervention were higher than those in the same group before the intervention,the observation group had higher scores of anxiety/depression,self-esteem and self-acceptance,attitude,sense of belonging,self-control and self-efficacy after the intervention than the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the observation group and the control group in the scores of mental awareness before the intervention(P＞0.05).The scores of the mental awareness of the two groups after intervention were higher than those in the same group before the intervention,the score of mental awareness level after intervention in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The mental awareness intervention program can improve the psychosocial adaptation of patients with breast cancer for radiotherapy in clinic,and it is worthy of reference and promotion in clinical practice.
