Abstract:Objective To investigate the efficacy of Amisulpride and Aripiprazole in improving the cognitive function of patients with schizophrenia. Methods A total of 80 patients with schizophrenia admitted to Jiangxi Mental Hospital from August 2018 to July 2020 were selected as research subjects. They were divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with oral Amisulpride Tablets, and the control group was treated with oral Aripiprazole Tablets. The positive and negative symptom scale (PANSS) score, patient health questionnaire depression scale (PHQ-9) score and mini mental state scale (MMSE) score were compared between the two groups before and after 2 months of treatment. Results The PANSS scores of the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment, and PANSS scores of the observation group after treatment were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no statistical significance in the comparison of PHQ-9 score between the two groups before treatment (P>0.05). The PHQ-9 scores of the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment, and PHQ-9 scores of the observation group after treatment were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). MMSE scores in the two groups after treatment were higher than those before treatment, and the MMSE score in the observation group after treatment was higher than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Compared with Aripiprazole, Amisulpride is more beneficial to relieve symptoms and depression and improve cognitive function in patients with schizophrenia. It is a more ideal drug choice.
