Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of electroacupuncture combined with modern rehabilitation technology on rehabilitation of patients with spinal cord injury neurogenic bladder incontinence. Methods A total of 84 patients with neurogenic bladder incontinence of spinal cord injury who were admitted to the First People′s Hospital of Jiujiang City,Jiangxi Province from October 2017 to October 2019 were selected and divided into two groups with random number table method,42 cases in each group. The control group was treated with modern rehabilitation technology, and the study group was treated with electroacupuncture combined with modern rehabilitation technology for 8 weeks. The urinary recovery time, urodynamic indicators and urination were compared between the two groups. Results The first urination time and the establishment of reflex urination time in the study group were(6.77±2.69)d and(9.79±3.21)d,which were shorter than those in the control group of(8.4±23.15)d and(13.02±4.86)d,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The maximum urinary flow rate and maximum urination volume in the study group after treatment were(14.15±3.89)mL/s,(196.64±39.22)mL,which were higher than those in the control group of(11.86±3.67)mL/s and(179.39±35.27)mL,and the residual urine volume and urination frequency were(80.25±27.17)mL,(12.18±3.65)times/d,which were less than(94.13±29.24)mL and(14.43±3.54)times/d of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Electroacupuncture combined with modern rehabilitation technology has a significant effect on neurogenic bladder urinary incontinence caused by spinal cord injury, which can help establish urination reflex, improve upper urinary tract function and urination ability.
