Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of electroacupuncture combined with auricular point sticking treating dysphagia after cerebral apoplexy. Methods One hundred patients with dysphagia after cerebral apoplexy from Foshan Hospital of TCM,Chancheng National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone Branch from January 2015 to July 2017 were selected and they were randomly divided into the treatment group (50 cases)and control group (50 cases). The control group received swallowing function training while the treatment group received swallowing function training and electroacupuncture combined with auricular point sticking.SAS score,SDS score, water swallowing test(WST)score, stroke specific quality of life scale (SS-QOL)score and the total effective rate were compared before and after treatment between the two groups. Results After 1 months treatment, the score of SAS,SDS and WST in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the decrease of the treatment group was more obvious, and the differences were statistically significantcompared with the control group(P<0.05).After 1 months treatment,SS-QOL score of the two groups were higher than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the increase of the treatment group was obvious compared with the control group(P<0.05).The total rate in the treatment group was 84.00%,which was significantly higher than that in the control group(66.00%)(P<0.05).Conclousion Electroacupuncture combined with auricular point sticking can effectively improve swallowing function, reduce negative emotions and improve the quality of life of patients with stroke, which is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
