Abstract:Objective To study the correlation between Human papillomavirus(HPV)genotyping in female genital tract and cervical lesions. Methods From February 2015 to February 2020,a total of 648 patients with cervical biopsy in Chaozhou People′s Hospital Affiliated to Shantou University Medical College were selected and divided into group A(124 patients with high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions),group B(308 patients with low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions)and group C(216 patients with cervicitis)according to the degree of cervical lesions.HPV genotyping was performed in all patients to analyze the correlation between HPV genotypes and cervical lesions. Results The results of HPV genotyping showed that 105 patients were HPV positive among 648 patients, and the HPV positive rate was 16.20%.Among them,41 cases were HPV positive in group A,53 cases were HPV positive in group B,11 cases were HPV positive in group C.The HPV subtypes with the highest infection rate were HPV 52,16,81,58,68,53,33,18 and 39.The number of HPV positive,high-risk HPV(HR-HPV)and multi subtype infection in group A was higher than that in group B and group C,and the number of HPV positive,HR-HPV and multi subtype infection in group B was higher than that in group C(P<0.05).The results of multivariate analysis showed that HPV infection(β=0.053,OR=1.763,95%CI=1.332-2.245)and HR-HPV infection(β=0.078,OR=2.452,95%CI=1.502-3.547)were risk factors for cervical cancer(P<0.05).Conclusion HPV infection can increase the risk of cervical lesions in women, and HRHPV infection is an independent risk factor for cervical cancer.
