Abstract:Objective To explore the diagnostic value of the detection of serum prealbumin(PA)level in the disease activity of gout. Methods The clinical data of 88 patients with gout who treated in the hospital from January 2017 to December 2019 were retrospectively analyzed. They were divided into intermission group(30 cases)and acute attack group(58 cases)according to different clinical symptoms, and 30 healthy people with physical examination during the same period were selected as control group. The levels of PA level, blood uric acid(UA),erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR)level and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)level were compared among the three groups, the correlation of PA level with UA,ESR and HS-CRP in patients with gout was analyzed. Results The level of PA in the acute attack group and the intermission group were lower than that in the control group, and the levels of UA,ESR and hs-CRP were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The level of PA in the acute attack group was lower than that in the intermission group, the levels of ESR,hs-CRP were higher than those in the intermission group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistical difference in the level of UA between the acute attack group and the intermission group(P>0.05).The PA level of patients with gout was negatively correlated with ESR and hs-CRP level(r=-0.351,-0.472,P=0.001,0.000),There was no significant correlation between PA level and UA level(P>0.05).Conclusion PA,UA,ESR,and hs-CRP of gout patients in different periods are significantly different, and PA levels are negatively correlated with ESR and hs-CRP levels.PA levels can be used as auxiliary indicators for judging gout disease activity.
