Abstract:Objective To explore the correlation between serum Chemerin and Adropin levels and type 2 diabetes(T2DM)combined with hyperhomocysteinemia(Hhcy). Methods A total of 168 patients with T2DM admitted to People′s Hospital of Yangjiang from April 2016 to April 2018 were selected as the research objects.According to Hhcy combined or not, they were divided into 81 cases in the simple T2DM group and 87 cases in the T2DM+Hhcy group.50 healthy people who underwent physical examination at the same time were selected as the control group. The basic data and biochemical indicators between the groups were compared, and Pearson correlation analysis was performed. Results The body mass index(BMI),systolic blood pressure(SBP),diastolic blood pressure(DBP),total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),fasting plasma glucose(FPG),HemoglobinA1c(HbA1c),homocysteine(Hcy),Chemerin of T2DM+Hhcy group and T2DM group were higher than those of control group;the HDL-C and Adropin of T2DM+Hhcy group and T2DM group were lower than those of control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The course of disease in T2DM+Hhcy group was longer than that in T2DM group, the BMI,TG,LDL-C,FPG,HbAlc,Hcy,Chemerin in T2DM+Hhcy group were higher than those in T2DM group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After Pearson correlation analysis, the course of disease,BMI,LDL-C,FPG,HbA1c,Chemerin were positively correlated with Hcy in T2DM patients, and Adropin was negatively correlated with it(P<0.05).Conclusion Chemerin and Adropin may both participate in the pathological process of Hhcy in T2DM patients.
