Abstract:Objective To analyze the correlation of hyperthyroidism and serum uric acid (SUA).Methods A total of 100 patients with hyperthyroidism admitted to our hospital from June 2017 to August 2018 were selected as observation group (50 patients with normal SUA and 50 patients with high SUA),and 100 healthy medical personnel were selected at the same time as control group, the thyroid function indexes and SUA levels were measured in both groups, and the levels of the indicators in the two groups were compared. Results The free of triiodothyronine (FT3) was (24.34±1.09)pmol/L,free thyroxine (FT4) was (64.33±1.92) pmol/L,SUA was (309.45±2.12) μmol /L in the observation group, which were higher than (4.43±1.98) pmol/L,(17.45±2.01) pmol/L,(278.34±2.01) μmol/L in the control group;the thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) was (0.14±0.01) μIU/ml in the observation group, which was lower than (2.55±0.12) μIU/ml in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The serum total triiodothyronine (TT3),total thyroxine (TT4),FT3,FT4,thyroglobulin antibody (TgAb),TSH receptor antibody (TRAb) in high SUA population are higher than those in normal SUA population,TSH and thyroid peroxidase antibody (TPOAb) in high SUA population were lower than those in normal SUA population, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05).TT3and TT4were positively correlated with SUA levels (P<0.05).Conclusion Hyperthyroidism has a certain correlation with SUA,and should be paid attention to clinically.
