Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect and safety of CT in the diagnosis of intestinal obstruction. Methods A total of 100 patients with suspected intestinal obstruction admitted to Fushun Central Hospital from July 2018 to June 2020 were retrospectively selected as the research objects. The X-ray and CT data of all patients were analyzed based on the surgical results as the gold standard. The image clarity, the detection of each type of intestinal obstruction, the detection of the etiology of intestinal obstruction and the comfort of patients during the examination were compared between the two methods. Results The image clarity rate of CT examination was 95.00%,which was higher than that of X-ray examination(83.00%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total detection rate of intestinal obstruction was 84.00% by CT examination and 59.00% by X-ray examination. The total detection rate of intestinal obstruction was 85.00% by CT examination and 61.00% by X-ray examination. There was no significant difference between the two methods in the specificity of various types of intestinal obstruction and the cause of intestinal obstruction(P>0.05),but the sensitivity and accuracy of CT examination were higher than that of X-ray examination, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total comfort rate of CT examination patients was 97.00%,which was higher than that of X-ray examination(89.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion CT examination is effective in diagnosing intestinal obstruction, can accurately detect different types of intestinal obstruction, etiology, and examination of high safety and comfort.
