Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect evaluation of CT plain scan and air enema on diagnosis and reduction of intussusception in children. Methods A total of 80 cases of children intussusception who were admitted to Quanzhou Women′s and Children′s Hospital from April 2018 to April 2020 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table, with 40 cases in each group. The observation group underwent plain CT scan with GE 64-slice spiral CT scanner, and acquired image data for thin-layer reconstruction, which was transmitted to ADW4.3 workstation for multiplanar reconstruction. The control group underwent air enema with Toshiba′s 500 mA gastrointestinal imaging camera. Foley tube balloon was inflated and then placed into anus, and then connected to the reducer, and the gas was injected slowly from the lowest pressure. All the above results were diagnosed by two imaging physicians with deputy senior professional titles. The preparation time before examination and the examination process time were compared between the two groups. The success rate of reduction and the incidence of intestinal perforation were compared between the two groups. The treatment reduction time and hospitalization time after treatment were compared. Results The preparation time and examination process time in the observation group were shorter than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).the reduction success rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the incidence rate of intestinal perforation was lower than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The treatment reduction time and hospitalization time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion For children intussusception, CT plain scan reduction has high diagnostic efficiency, simple operation, high reduction success, few complications and high safety.
