Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of Batroxobin Injection in the treatment of total deafness type sudden deafness. Methods A total of 80 patients with total deafness type sudden deafness who were hospitalized from January 2015 to October 2019 were selected as subjects and divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method, with 40 cases in each group.Patients in the control group were treated by intravenous injection of Sodium Methylprednisolone Succinate and intravenous infusion of Extract of Ginkgo Biloba Injection.Patients in the observation group was treated by Batroxobin Injection on the basis of the control group.Pure tone audiometry was performed before and after treatment to compare the curative effect of the two groups and analyze the changes of hearing. Results The apparent efficiency of the observation group was 55.00%, the total effective rate was 72.50%.In the control group, the apparent efficiency was 30.00% and the total effective rate was 67.50%.The apparent efficiency in the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Comparison of the total effective rate between the two groups showed no statistically significant difference (P>0.05).After treatment, the average hearing threshold in the low-frequency and middle-frequency regions of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the average hearing threshold between the two groups in the high-frequency region (P>0.05).Conclusion Batroxobin Injection was proved effective in the treatment of total deafness type sudden deafness, which could improve the hearing of patients in further. It has positive effect on the improvement of middle and low frequency hearing, but has no effect on the improvement of high frequency hearing.
