Abstract:Objective To explore and compare the clinical effects of immediate implant restoration and residual root preservation restoration in the treatment of patients with dental defects. Methods A total of 100 patients with dental defects treated in the Department of Stomatology,Airport Hospital of Tianjin Medical University General Hospital from January 2019 to June 2020 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and experimental group according to the computer grouping method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was treated with residual root preservation repair, and the experimental group with immediate implant repair. The cure, oral function score, clinical efficacy, complications and satisfaction of the two groups were compared. Results The oral function score of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The satisfaction of experimental group was higher than that of control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The comparison of immediate implant restoration and residual root preservation and restoration shows that implant restoration has better clinical effects, which can effectively improve the oral function of patients with tooth defects, immediate improve the cure rate and patient satisfaction, and have a low incidence of complications.
