Abstract:Objective To compare the effect of Misoprostol and cook cervical dilatation balloon in promoting cervical ripening in late pregnancy. Methods Ninety late pregnant women with indications of induced labor and immature cervix from January 2016 to July 2019 in our hospital were selected as research objects. They were randomly divided into 40 cases of Misoprostol group (group A), 50 cases of COOK balloon group (group B) by drawing. The cervical score before and after treatment, delivery outcome, complications and neonatal condition of pregnant women were compared between two groups. Results The cervical score of the two groups after treatment were higher than those before treatment, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The effective rate of promoting cervical maturation in group B was higher than that in group A (P<0.05).The incidence of uterine contraction overfrequency and fetal distress in group A were higher than that in group B (P<0.05).There were no significant differences in cesarean section rate, postpartum hemorrhage rate and neonatal asphyxia between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion COOK cervical dilatation balloon and Misoprostol can significantly improve cervical ripening, but COOK cervical dilatation balloon is more safe and worthy of clinical application.
