Abstract:Objective To analyze the clinical effect of cervical dilatation balloon in the induction of labor in full-term pregnancy. Methods From December 2016 to December 2017,a total of 50 full-term pregnant women who received nursing in our hospital were selected as subjects. The women were divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method, with 25 cases in each group.Conventional Oxytocin for induction was used in the control group, while in the observation group,Oxytocin combined with cervical dilatation balloon was adopted. The total effective rate of cervical ripening, cesarean section rate, labor time and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of cervical ripening in the observation group was 92.00%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group(68.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The cesarean section rate of the observation group was 12.00%,which was significantly lower than that of the control group(40.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The first and second labor time and total labor time of the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The total incidence rate of postpartum adverse reactions in the observation group was 8.00%,which was significantly lower than that in the control group(32.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion In the induction of labor in full-term pregnancy,Oxytocin combined with cervical dilatation balloon can facilitate the cervical ripening, reduce the cesarean section rate and shorten the labor time compared with the application of Oxytocin alone, which is worthy of comprehensive promotion in the clinical practice.
