Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effects of concurrent chemoradiotherapy in the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer. Methods A total of 100 patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer from January 2016 to January 2018 in the department of oncology in our hospital were selected as research subjects.According to the method of remote randomization, all the patients were divided into the control group and the experimental group,50 cases in each group. The control group was given sequential chemotherapy and radiotherapy. The experimental group was given concurrent chemoradiotherapy. The therapeutic efficacy, the incidence of adverse reactions and quality of life of patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer in the experimental group was 66.00%,which was significantly higher than 42.00%in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence rate and severity of adverse reactions such as leukopenia, radiation esophagitis, and radiation-induced lung injury in the experimental group were compared with the control group, and the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05).The quality of life scores in the experimental group after treatment were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer receive concurrent chemoradiotherapy has a good therapeutic effect. It has a positive significance for improving the quality of life and extending life expectancy.
