Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of Metformin and Ethynylestradiol Cyproterone in the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome infertility. Methods A total of 60 cases of infertility patients with polycystic ovary syndrome from March 2015 to February 2016 treated in our hospital were selected as study subjects. They were divided into the control group and the study group according to the parity method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Ethynylestradiol Cyproterone alone, and the study group was given Metformin on the basis of Ethynylestradiol Cyproterone. All patients were treated for 3 months.Sex hormone levels (follicle stimulating hormone[FSH],luteinizing hormone[LH],pituitary prolactin[PRL],testosterone[T],estradiol[E2],progesterone[P]),metabolic levels(Insulin receptor[IR],fasting insulin[FINS],fasting glucose[FBS]),postoperative ovulation status and adverse reactions were compared in two groups. Results The levels of LH([8.31±2.15]IU/L),T([1.32±0.38]nmol/L),E2([114.66±8.80]pmol/L),IR(1.66±0.54)and FINS([7.44±2.31]mIU/ml)in the study group were lower than those in the control group([11.34±2.39]IU/L,[1.94±0.48]nmol/L,[118.57±7.90]pmol/L,[2.60±0.57],[12.00±2.69]mIU/ml),and abortion rate(3.33%)in the study group were lower than that in the control group (20.00%),the ovulation rate (73.33%)and pregnancy rate(43.33%)in the study group were higher than those in the control group(53.33%,23.33%),and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between two groups(P>0.05).ConclusionThe effect of Metformin and Ethynylestradiol Cyproterone in the treatment of infertility patients with polycystic ovary syndrome is significant.
