Abstract:Objective To compare the effect of immediate and delayed implant in maxillary anterior single tooth implant repair.MethodsFrom April 2013 to May 2016,86 cases of maxillary anterior single tooth implant repair in our department were selected as the subjects. They were divided into study group (immediate planting,n=48)and control group(delayed planting,n=38)according to the different time of single tooth implant repair. The implant success rate, complication rate, red crown index(PES)score of 3 months and 6 months after crown restoration, and marginal bone resorption(MBL)at 3 months and 6 months after full crown restoration were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in the success rate between the study group(97.91%)and the control group(94.74%)(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of complications such as inflammation, gingival recession and metal exposure between the two groups(P>0.05).The PES scores of the study group of patients with full crown after 3 months and 6 months was(11.98±1.25)points,(12.22±0.68)points,which was significantly higher than that of the control group of(9.06±1.20)points,(10.01±0.88)points(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the MBL after full crown restoration at 3 and 6 months between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Immediate implant and delayed implant have higher implant success rate in the maxillary anterior single tooth implant repair, and the marginal bone resorption of implant is similar, but the immediate implant is better than delayed planting in the aspect of aesthetics.
