Abstract:Objective To systematically evaluate the correlation of P-AKT protein expression with cervical cancer and its different clinicopathological features.Methods The Cochrane Library,EMBase,PubMed,VIP,Duxiu,Wanfang and China National Knowledge Internet were retrieved by computer.Case randomized controlled study officially published on the relationship between P-AKT expression and cervical cancer and its clinicopathological features were searched.The search date was from database construction to December 2017.After data were extracted and evaluated its quality,RevMan 5.3 software was used for meta-analysis.Results A total of 9 studies including 1050 participants were included,there were 421 cases patients with cervical cancer,434 patients with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN),and 195 women with normal cervix.Meta-analysis showed that:①there were significant differences in the expression of PAKT between cervical cancer and normal cervix group(OR=25.79,95%CI[11.14,59.70],P<0.00001),cervical cancer and CIN group(OR=4.98,95%CI[3.55,7.00],P<0.00001),and CIN and normal cervix group(OR=6.53,95%CI[4.14,10.29],P<0.00001).② the expression of P-AKT in cervical cancer with lymph node metastasis group and non-metastasis of lymph node group(OR=3.38,95%CI[1.60,7.17],P=0.001)was statistically significant,however,there was no great difference was detected between poorly differentiated cervical cancer and moderately-highly differentiated group(OR=1.03,95%CI[0.49,2.18],P=0.93)or between clinical phaseⅡof International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics(FIGO)between cervical cancer group and phase I of FIGO in cervical cancer group(OR=2.09,95%CI[0.90,4.85],P=0.09).Conclusion The expression of P-AKT protein has significant correlation with cervical cancer and it is a potential diagnostic and prognostic indicator of cervical cancer.
