Abstract:Objective To analyze the application value of 64-slice spiral computed tomography(CT)in the diagnosis of mediastinal lung cancer. Methods A total of 50 suspected patients with mediastinal lung cancer treated in our hospital from February 2016 to February 2017 were selected. All patients were performed with 64-slice spiral CT examinations. The postoperative pathological outcomes were used as the gold standard for diagnosis. The diagnostic sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of 64-slice spiral CT were analyzed. The detection rate of 64-slice spiral CT for different types of lung cancer was also analyzed. Results The diagnostic sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of the 64-slice spiral CT examinations were relatively high, and there was no statistical difference compared with postoperative pathological findings(P>0.05).The detection rates of different types by 64-slice spiral CT examinations were not displayed statistical significance compared with those in postoperative pathological findings(P>0.05).Conclusion The application of 64-slice spiral CT in the diagnosis of mediastinal lung cancer is of great value. It has high diagnostic sensitivity, specificity and accuracy, and can accurately distinguish the status of mediastinal lung cancer.
