Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical value of continuous quality improvement in the management of disinfection supply room.MethodsFive hundred samples of disinfection disinfection and supply room in our hospital from March 2015 to February 2016 were selected as the observation object, and divided into two groups according to random draw method, namely the normal group(n=250)and improved group(n=250).Routine management of disinfection samples was carried out in routine group, and continuous quality improvement management was carried out in improved group. The packing quality, sterilization quality, cleaning quality and the time of sending samples to the department were compared between the two groups. Results The unqualified rate of disinfection samples, the unqualified rate of sterilization quality and the unqualified rate of cleaning quality in the improved group were 0.80%,0.40%,0.40%,which were significantly lower than those in the conventional group for 3.60%,2.80%and 2.80%,respectively,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The improved group samples sent to the department of disinfection time was significantly shorter than the conventional group according to the number of disinfection samples, respectively (41.43±11.42)min,(59.45±14.43)min,there were significant differences between the groups(P<0.05).Conclusion The clinical value of continuous quality improvement measures in the management of disinfection supply room is more significant. It can effectively improve the quality of packaging, sterilization quality, cleaning quality, shorten the time of goods sent to department, and has a very positive significance for preventing nosocomial infection.
