Application value of three-dimensional ultrasonographic omniview combined with volume contrast imaging in the diagnosis of fetal agenesis of the corpus callosum

Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical value of three-dimensional ultrasonographic omniview combined with volume contrast imaging (VCI) in the diagnosis of fetal agenesis of the corpus callosum.Methods From October 2015 to May 2017,1054 fetuses for prenatal examinations in our hospital were selected as subjects.They were performed with two-dimensional ultrasound scanning,ultrasonographic omniview and ultrasonographic omniview combined with VCI to observe the displayed effects of the corpus callosum and the accuracy of diagnosing agenesis of the corpus callosum.Results The display rate of corpus callosum of the two-dimensional ultrasound was 72.96%,ultrasonographic omniview was 89.66% and ultrasonographic omniview combined VCI was 98.96%.The display rate of corpus callosum were compared with three methods,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Postpartum neonatal MRI examination results were used as gold standard,the accuracy of agenesis of corpus callosum in the two-dimensional ultrasound diagnosis was 5.4%,ultrasonographic omniview was 8.3%,the accuracy of ultrasonographic omniview combined with VCI was highest,at 81.2%.The accuracy of agenesis of corpus callosum were compared with three methods,and the differences were statistically significant (χ2=56.3,P<0.01).Conclusion Joint application of the three-dimensional ultrasonographic omniview combined with VCI in the diagnosis of fetal agenesis of the corpus callosum can obtain a remarkable effect and great accuracy.
