Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of artificial chordae combined with bicuspid ring in the treatment of mitral prolapse complicated with insufficiency.Methods Sixty-five patients with mitral prolapse complicated with insufficiency treated in our hospital from May 2014 to October 2017 were selected.They were divided into the control group (n=33)and experimental group (n=32)based on the singular and plural number of medical records.An incision was made in the middle of the sternum in patients of the experimental group,and the experimental group was treated with artificial tendon planting and mitral annuloplasty ring implantation under extracorporeal circulation while the control group was treated with mitral valve replacement.The left ventricular end diastolic diameter(LNDD),Left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF)and left atrium diameter(LAD)before and after treatment in patients were observed.Results No death case occurred in all participants after therapy.The indicators of LNDD,LVEF and LAD in the experimental group were significantly improved compared with the control group with statistical differences (P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the experimental group was significantly less than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion For patients with mitral prolapse complicated with insufficiency,the effect of artificial tendon planting and mitral annuloplasty ring implantation under extracorporeal circulation is significant with few complications,which can improve the cardiac function,and has a higher value for clinical application and promotion.
