Objective To explore the application of high quality nursing intervention in patients with chronic renal failure undergoing peritoneal dialysis.MethodsAltogether 86 patients with chronic renal failure undergoing peritoneal dialysis treated in our hospital from June 2015 to August 2016 were selected as the subjects, and divided into the experiment group and the control group by simple random method, with 43 cases in each group. The experiment group was treated with high quality nursing intervention, while the control group receivedroutine nursing care. The incidence of complications, improvement of nutritional status and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results After the intervention, the incidence of complications in the experiment group was lower than that in the control group, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).After the intervention, the Malnutrition-inflammation Scale(MIS)score of the experiment group was lower than that in the control group, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05).After the intervention, the body mass index, serum albumin and hemoglobin of the experiment group were higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).After the intervention, the scores of physiological function, body pain, general health and mental health in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05).ConclusionHigh quality nursing can improve the quality of life, reduce the complications and improve the nutritional status of peritoneal dialysis patients with chronic renal failure.
