Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical influence factors of the positive rate of transrectal ultrasound-guided prostate biopsy. Methods Altogether 116 cases of patients who underwent transrectal ultrasound-guided prostate biopsy in our hospital from January 2015 to December 2016 were involved as the object of this experiment. The clinical data of 116 patients were analyzed retrospectively so as to explore the clinical influence factors of the positive rate of transrectal ultrasound-guided prostate biopsy. Results Of the 116 patients,47 patients were identified as prostate cancer and the positive rate was 40.52%,and the positive rate was 57.58%in 2016,which was slightly higher than that in 2015(32.73%). The positive rate of prostate cancers who aged 47-54,55-59,60-69 and 70-79 years old, above 80 years old was 28.57%, 33.33%,39.58%,50.00%and 50.00%;with the increase of age,the positive rate of prostate cancers increased gradually. The positive rate of prostate cancers whose concentration of prostate specific antigen(PSA)ranged from 4-<10,10-<20, 20-<50,50-<100 to≥100 g/L was 33.33%,31.82%,35.71%,50.00%and 100.00%,respectively.With the increase of PSA concentration, the positive rate of prostate cancers increased gradually. The detection rate of prostate cancers with the prostate volume ranging from<20,20-<50,50-<80 to 80-100 ml was 31.25%,57.58%,38.00%and 23.53%,with significant difference between multiple groups(P<0.05).According to the multivariate Logistics regression analysis,it was found that the influencing factors of the detection rate of transrectal ultrasound-guided prostate cancers mainly included age, PSA concentration and prostate volume. Conclusion Patients′age,PSA concentration and prostate volume may affect the positive rate of transrectal ultrasound-guided prostate biopsy, therefore,it is recommended to exclude related interference factors when transrectal prostate biopsy is performed.
