Abstract:Objective To study the recent curative effect, traumatic degree and complication of complete mesocolic excision(CME)in treating colon cancer. Methods 30 cases of colon cancer patients received CME in our hospital from January 2012 to December 2016 were selected as CME group,30 cases of colon cancer patients who received traditional radical surgery were selected as control group. Then perioperative condition, number of lymph node dissection, postoperative complications were observed between two groups, before surgery and the very day after the operation, serum were collected and the content of inflammatory mediators in before and 1,3,5,7 d after operation were measured between two group. Results The operation time, intraoperative blood loss, postoperative drainage, postoperative exhaust time, time in bed, wound infection, anastomotic leakage, urinary retention and intestinal obstruction between two groups were compared, and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05);total number of lymph node dissection and number of lymph node dissection of phase B and phase C in the CME group was significantly more than that in the control group(P<0.05), number of lymph node dissection of phase A compared with the control group, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Before operation, there wasnostatisticallysignificantdifferenceinserumCRPcontentbetweentwogroups(P> 0.05);1,3,5,7 d after operation, serum CRP content of two groups were significantly higher than that before operation, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);1,3,5,7 d after operation, there was no statistically significant difference in serum CRP content between two groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of complications between two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion CME in the treatment of colon cancer can improve the efficiency of lymph node dissection, avoid the lesion extrusion caused by surgery, and does not increase the surgical trauma and postoperative complications.
