Abstract:Objective To investigate the situation of higher vocational college students′understanding of AIDS,to improve students′cognitive level through health education.Methods From July 2015 to June 2016,a total of 7860 male and female students from higher vocational colleges in a certain area were selected as the study subjects,the cognitive status of AIDS of the students was understood and questionnaire survey was conducted before and after health education,and the results were analyzed and evaluated.Results The awareness rate of AIDS-related knowledge after health education was higher than that before education,the psychological attitude towards AIDS-related events after health education was better than that before education,with significant difference(P<0.05).After health education,the average score of AIDS-related problems between male and female students was significantly improved,and the difference was statistically significant compared with that before health education(P<0.01).The scores of AIDS-related attitude of female before and after health education were higher than that of male,with significant difference(P<0.01).Conclusion It is very effective and necessary for the higher vocational college students to carry out AIDS health education,which can promote AIDS knowledge publicity and lay a practical and good foundation for AIDS prevention and control.
