Effects of meridian nursing on sleep and life quality in patients receiving chemotherapy for lung cancer

Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of meridian nursing on sleep and life quality in patients receiving chemotherapy for lung cancer.Methods98 patients with lung cancer who treated in our hospital from May 2016 to May 2017 were divided into the observation group and control group according to the random number table,49 cases in each group.The control group was treated with routine care,while the observation group was given the meridian nursing plus routine care at the same time.Sleep and life quality in two groups were compared before and after treatment.ResultsBefore nursing,the each index scores and total scores of sleep quality and life quality of the patients in the two groups were compared,and the differences were not statistically significant(P<0.05).After nursing,the each index scores and total scores of sleep quality of the patients in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).While the each index scores and total scores of life quality of the quality of the patients in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionThe meridian nursing can effectively improve the sleep and life quality of patients under lung cancer chemotherapy.It is worth promoting clinical application.
