Abstract:Objective To investigate the relationship between fall and aortic calcification of hemodialysis patients. Methods 80 cases of hemodialysis patients in blood purification center of our hospital from January 2016 to January 2017 were selected as research objects, these patients were divided into the aortic calcification group (n=17)and the non-aortic calcification group(n=63)according to aortic calcification occurred. The data of the two groups were recorded, such as sexes, ages, ages of dialysis, primary diseases and so on.The occurrences of falls was observed, the causes were analyzed, and the results were observed, then the incidences of falls of the two groups was statistically analyzed. Results The incidence of fall of the aortic calcification group was 88.2%(15/17),which was significantly higher than 22.2%(14/63)of the non aortic calcification group(P<0.05),the main reasons of the fall occurred were hypotension, arrhythmia, decreased exercise tolerance, occurs mainly in the time after dialysis, the consequences was skin contusion. Conclusion The incidence of falls of hemodialysis patients is significantly related to aortic calcification, the clinical measures should take targeted measures to reduce the incidence of falls of hemodialysis patients to the minimum.
