Abstract:ObjectiveTo explore the effect of three different concentrations of heparin sealant on intravenous indwelling needle sealing in diabetic patients.Methods90 patients with diabetes mellitus in our hospital from June 2009 to May 2012 were selected and randomly divided into three groups, with 30 patients in each group.Group A used 125 U/ml heparin sealant 5 ml,group B used 100 U/ml heparin sealant 5 ml,and group C used 150 U/ml heparin sealant 5 ml.The incidence of repeated puncture and patency after sealing, the level of fibrin,APTT and PT were compared between two group.ResultsThe incidence of repeated puncture in group B(3.33%)was lower than that in group A(20.00%)and C (33.33%),the incidence of patency after sealing in group B(93.33%)was higher than that in group A(66.67%)and C (50.00%),and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The level of fibrin,APTT and PT of group B was better than that in group A and C,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionHeparin sealed liquid concentration of 5 ml 100 U/ml(tube concentration 500 U)with the most effective sealing effect,it will be used in patients with diabetes intravenous indwelling needle, can reduce the blocking rate.
