Abstract:ObjectiveTo evaluate the early diagnosis value of nerve conduction velocity (NCV)for diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN).MethodsFrom April,2016 to April,2017,50 patients with DPN extracted from patients treated in our hospital were studied, and they were classified as the observation group, another 50 healthy persons underwent the physical examination in our hospital in the same period were selected as the control group. Then, the nerve conduction velocity were compared between the two groups, and NCV between the symptomatic and asymptomatic group of DPN patients were compared at the same time.ResultsThe exercise NCV and sensory NCV in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was a significant difference in the abnormal rate of MCV and NCV between symptomatic and asymptomatic group (P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in the abnormal rate of SCV between groups(P>0.05).In the asymptomatic group, the abnormal rate of SCV was significantly higher than the abnormal rate of MSV (P<0.05).ConclusionThe early diagnosis of diabetic peripheral neuropathy can be performed by detecting NCV,and NCV can effectively diagnose DPN,and it is of great significance to the prevention and treatment of early disease.
