Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of Montelukast Sodium in the treatment of pediatric asthmatic bronchitis.Methods 100 cases of pediatric asthmatic bronchitis in our hospital from January 2012 to December 2015 were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method,50 cases in each group.The control group was given routine symptomatic treatment,the observation group was given Montelukast Sodium on the basis of the routine symptomatic treatment for 4 weeks.The clinical total effective rate,disappeared time of cough,wheeze disappeared time,wheezing disappearance time,hospitalization time and inflammatory markers were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate in the observation group was 96%, which was higher than 80%in the control group,with significant difference(P<0.05).The cough disappeared time,wheezing rale disappearance time,wheezing disappearance time,hospitalization time in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group,with significant difference(P<0.01).The level of C reactive protein and white blood cell count after treatment in the two groups was lower than that before treatment,with significant difference(P<0.01).The level of C reactive protein and white blood cell count after treatment in the observation group was lower than that in the control group after treatment,with significant difference(P<0.01).Conclusion The using of Montelukast Sodium in the treatment of pediatric asthmatic bronchitis has remarkable clinical curative effect,which can effectively alleviate the patient′s clinical symptoms,restrain the airway inflammation.
