Abstract:Objective To study the effect of plasma bipolar electric resection on improving the blood and urine dynamics of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Methods 50 patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia from January 2014 to March 2015 hospitalized were treated by plasma bipolar resection(observition group),and 30 healthy subjectswere selected as normal group.Changes ofmaximum velocity(Vmax),minimum flow velocity(Vmin),resistance index(RI),urodynamic maximum urinary flow rate(MFR),average flow rate(AFR),maximum urethral pressure(MPUP),maximum urethral closure pressure(MUCP)between two groups were analyzed by patients′blood and urine samples. The quality of life for patients after surgery were evaluated by international prostate symptom score(IPSS)and quality of life score(QOL).Results Vmax,Vmin,RIof observition group before surgery were statistically significant compared with normal group, with statistical difference(P<0.05,P<0.01),Vmax,Vmin,RIof observition group after surgery was significantly improved compared with before surgery, with statistical difference(P<0.01).MFR,AFR,MPUP,MUCP of the observition group in urodynamics before surgery was a significant difference compared with normal group respectively(P<0.01).MFR,AFR,MPUP,MUCP had very significant statistical significance before and after surgery(P<0.01).IPSS,QOL scores in a month, two months, threemonths after surgery was statistically significant compared with that before surgery respectively(P<0.01). Conclusion Plasma bipolar resection for benign prostatic hyperplasia can significantly improve the patients′bloodstream, urodynamic and the quality of life.
