Abstract:Objective To evaluate the application effect of multidisciplinary pulmonary rehabilitation in elderly patients with pneumoconiosis. Methods From January 2015 to November 2017,76 elderly patients with pneumoconiosis who were admitted into our hospital were enrolled in this study.According to different rehabilitation methods, they were evenly divided into experimental group and reference group,38 cases in each group. In the reference group, conventional rehabilitation was provided, while in the experimental group, multidisciplinary comprehensive pulmonary rehabilitation was adopted. The quality of life scores and mean 6-minute walking distance before and after rehabilitation in the two groups were observed. Results The score of quality of life before rehabilitation was(2.7±0.4)points in experimental group,and(2.8±0.5)points in the reference group without a significant difference(P>0.05).The quality of life score of the experimental group after rehabilitation was(2.5±0.1)points,which was lower than that in the reference group of(2.7±0.6)points with a statistical difference(P<0.05).The mean 6-minute walking distance beofre rehabilitation was(286.3±31.0)m in the experimental group,and(285.2±32.0)m in the reference group without a significant difference(P>0.05).The mean 6-minute walking distance after rehabilitation was(365.8±36.0)m in the experimental group, which was significantly higher than that in the reference group of(281.0±30.5)m with a statistical difference (P<0.05).Conclusion Application of multidisciplinary comprehensive pulmonary rehabilitation can obtain a remarkable effect in elderly patients with pneumoconiosis.
