Abstract：Objective To explore the effect of Tanreqing injection in the treatment of acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis. Methods 100 cases of acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis from March 2013 to March 2014 in our hospital were selected and divided into the observation group and the control group by using the random number table method，50 cases in each group.The observation group was treated with Tanreqing injection combined with levofloxacin intravenous drip，the control group was treated with levofloxacin intravenous drip.the clinical efficacy after treatment，clinical signs improvement time，the incidence rate of adverse reaction in the two groups was compared. Results The total effective rate in the observation group was 94%，which was higher than 84%in the control group，with significant difference（P＜0.05）.The improvement time of clinical symptoms and signs in the observation group was better than that in the control group，with significant difference（P＜0.05）.There was no significant difference in the incidence rate of adverse reaction between the two groups（P＞0.05）.There was no significant difference in the level of total bilirubin and serum creatinine between the two groups（P＞0.05）. Conclusion The effect of Tanreqing injection in the treatment of acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis is significant，it is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
