Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of continuous nursing intervention on hip function recovery and prognosis of patients undergoing total hip arthroplasty(THR).Methods A total of 76 patients who underwent THR from January 2018 to March 2020 in Jinggangshan Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Jiangxi Province were selected. They were divided into the observation group(38 cases)and the control group(38 cases)according to the random number table method. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was applied with continuous nursing intervention. The hip joint function, quality of life, and complications were compared between the two groups before and after the intervention. Results Before the intervention, there were no statistically significant differences in hip function scores or quality of life scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After the intervention, the hip function and quality of life scores between the two groups were higher than those before the intervention the hip joint function score was(76.57±8.32)points and the quality of life score was(79.75±7.29)points in the observation group after the intervention, higher than those in the control group of(60.53±7.48)and(66.25±7.98)points,respectively,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was 5.26%,lower than that in the control group accounting for 23.68%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Continuous nursing intervention can promote the recovery of hip joint function, improve the quality of life, and reduce the occurrence of complications in patients undergoing THR.
