Abstract：Objective To explore the application effect of psychological nursing intervention in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) with respiratory failure. Methods A total of 86 patients with COPD and respiratory failure who were hospitalized in our hospital from October 2018 to September 2019 were selected as the research subjects.They were divided into the control group (n=43) and the observation group (n=43) according to coin tossing method.The control group performed routine nursing,the observation group performed routine nursing combined with psychological nursing,the two groups of patients with psychological anxiety,depression and nursing satisfaction before and after nursing were compared. Results The psychological anxiety and depression of the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the nursing total satisfaction was higher than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Psychological nursing intervention can effectively improve the psychological anxiety and depression of patients with COPD and respiratory failure,and improve the patient′s nursing satisfaction.It has significant application value.
