Abstract:Objective Discussion on the difference in nutrition indicators of various groups of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) Global Initiative guidelines (GOLD) in patients with COPD in stable stage. Methods From January 2018 to December 2020,160 stable COPD patients who were in the Department of Outpatient of Jiangxi Provincial People′s Hospital were selected as subjects.According to GOLD guidelines, stable COPD patients were divided into groups A,B,C and D,with 40 cases in each group.Forty healthy adults at the same time were selected as control group. The serum total protein (TP),albumin, creatinine (Cre) and urea nitrogen (BUN) in five groups were compared. Results The serum TP and albumin in COPD stable stage patients in groups A,B,C and D were lower than those in healthy control group, and Cre levels were higher than those in healthy control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in serum BUN level between groups A,B,C and D and control group (P>0.05).There were no statistical significance in serum TP,Cre and BUN in groups A,B,C and D(P>0.05),and there were no statistical significance in serum albumin in groups A,B and C (P>0.05).The serum albumin level in group D was lower than that in groups A,B and C,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Serum albumin can be used as an important indicator of the stable stage of COPD patients with high risk of acute exacerbation and severity symptoms in the future, and needs high vigilance in clinic practice, timely intervention treatment may reduce acute exacerbation, improve the clinical symptoms of patients.
