Abstract：Objective To explore the application effect of small incision fat removal combined with continuous catgut embedding double eyelid plasty in asymmetric eyelid plastic surgery.Methods From January 2018 to February 2020,90 patients with asymmetric double eyelids in the Department of Plastic Surgery in Xinglin Plastic Surgery Hospital were selected as the research objects and divided into the experimental group and the control group,with 45 cases in each group.The experimental group was treated with small incision fat removal,continuous catgut embedding and double eyelid plasty,while the control group was treated with conventional incision double eyelid plasty.The operation indexes,patient satisfaction and adverse reactions of the two groups were compared.Results The amount of bleeding in the experimental group was less than that in the control group,the healing time and operation time were shorter than those in the control group,the total satisfaction was higher than that in the control group,and the total incidence of adverse reactions was lower than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Double eyelid plasty with small incision fat removal combined with continuous catgut embedding method for asymmetric double eyelid has the advantages of simple operation,short operation time,less blood loss,less adverse reactions,fast recovery and high patient satisfaction,which is worthy of clinical application.
