Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of fiberoptic bronchoscope suction combined with alveolar lavage(FBBL)in the treatment of severe pulmonary infections. Methods A total of 78 patients with severe pulmonary infection admitted to the Iron Coal General Hospital of Liaoning Health Industry Group from June 2018 to December 2020 were selected as the research samples, they were divided into observation group(39 cases)and control group(39 cases)by random lottery method. The control group performed conventional treatment methods,on this basis, the observation group used FBBL therapy to compare the arterial blood gas indicators, hospitalization status and complication rate of the two groups. Results After treatment, the partial pressure of carbon dioxide in pulse blood(PaCO2)of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);after treatment, the blood oxygen saturation(SpO2)and pondus hydrogenii(pH)of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the observation group′s symptom improvement time, mechanical ventilation time, antibacterial drug use time, and ICU hospital stay were shorter than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);during the treatment period, the total incidence of complicatiens in the observation group compared with the control group, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion As an adjuvant treatment for patients with severe pulmonary infection,FBBL therapy can improve arterial blood gas indicators, improve hospitalization, and will not increase the risk of complications, and patient safety and effectiveness can be guaranteed.
