Abstract:Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of Capecitabine in patients with advanced digestive tract tumor. Methods A total of 100 patients with advanced digestive tract tumor admitted to Department of Gastroenterology,Special Medical Center of PLA Military Medical University from January 2017 to March 2019 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into experimental group(50 cases)and control group(50 cases)according to random number table method. The control group was treated with 2500 mg/m2 Capecitabine, and the experimental group was treated with 2000 mg/m2 Capecitabine. The treatment effect and the incidence of adverse reaction were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of experimental group was 80.00%,which was higher than that of control group(62.00%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the test group was 22.00%,which was lower than 48.00% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with 2500 mg/m2 Capecitabine treatment, patients with advanced gastrointestinal cancer receiving 2000 mg/m2 Capecitabine treatment can improve the treatment effect and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions, which is safe and effective.
