Abstract:Objective To investigate the intervention effect of clinical pharmacists on unreasonable parenteral nutrition orders. Methods The clinical data of 47 children with parenteral nutrition from June 2019 to July 2019 treated in Pingxiang People′s Hospital were retrospectively analyzed, according to whether there was clinical pharmacist intervention for the review of parenteral nutrition prescription, the research subjects were divided into the control group(n=23)and the observation group(n=24).The parenteral nutrition prescription review in the control group did not have clinical pharmacist intervention, and the parenteral nutrition prescription review in the observation group was intervened by clinical pharmacists. The rational use rate of total nutrient admixtare(TNA)prescription, hospitalization time and hospitalization expenses of each department were compared between the two groups. Results The rationality of TNA prescription of patients in the observation group was higher than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the hospitalization time of the observation group was shorter than the control group, and the expense was lower than the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Clinical pharmacists review the prescriptions of parenteral nutrition solutions, rationally and effectively intervene in unreasonable prescriptions, improve the rationality of prescriptions, reduce the hospital stay and hospitalization expenses of patients, and ensure the safety of patients′medication.
