Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of risk management concept in nursing safety management of the department of psychiatry. Methods A total of 80 patients with psychiatric diseases admitted to Mental Hospital of Guangzhou Civil Affairs Bureau from February 2018 to February 2019 were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into the control group (40 cases) and the test group (40 cases) according to the random number table method. The control group adopted the conventional nursing model, and the test group adopted the risk management concept mode. The incidence of accidents and the total satisfaction of family members to nursing were compared between the two groups. Results The total incidence of accidents in the test group was 10.00%, which was lower than that in the control group (32.50%), the total nursing satisfaction of family members in the test group was 92.50%, which was higher than that in the control group (70.00%), the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of risk management concept in the nursing safety management of the department of psychiaty can not only reduce the occurrence of accidents, but also improve the satisfaction of family members to nursing work.
