Abstract:Objective To investigate the application effect of PDCA circulation management model in blood station nursing work. Methods A total of 400 unpaid blood donors from April to October 2019 in Nanping Central Blood Station were selected as the research objects. According to the time sequence of blood donation, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 200 cases in each group. The control group was given routine management, and the observation group was given PDCA cycle management mode. The comfort level, nursing quality, nursing satisfaction of unpaid blood donors and the success rate of blood donation were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, the comfort score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The nursing quality scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The total nursing satisfaction of unpaid blood donors in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (χ2=4.581, P=0.032). The success rate of blood donation in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (χ2=4.092, P=0.043). Conclusion The PDCA circulation management model has significant effect in the nursing work of blood stations, which can improve the comfort of blood donors, nursing satisfaction, blood donation success rate, and improve the nursing quality of nursing staff.
